Valentine's Day Dinner table

Happy Valentine's Day!
A very simple table for two.
The black candelabra, I found at a yard sale, looking pretty sad.
It was gold and costs me an entire 10 cents!
A bit of black spray paint and it has been transformed.
Add 4 candles (cost total $1) and for $1.10 I have a beautiful way to shine a little glow on our dinner.
The mini pitcher was a find at TJMaxx.

The rest of the items were from around the house.
Just ignore the leaning candles! I fixed that. ;-)
My kissing angels (long ago gift) and extra candles (previous yard sale finds).
My 'fancy' white dishes from the Goodwill, along with a red plate between for a bit of extra added color.
Simple heart ornament and red roses from the Dollar Tree plus a huge heart cookie cutter to finish off the table. Then I hung another smaller cookie cutter from the kitchen light.
I'm cooking up my Easy Chicken Pot Pie.
And a Philly Brownie Cheesecake for dessert.
Find the recipe HERE.
Photo is from Philly site.
***Edited to add:  The dessert is DIVINE!  My own personal 'hint' is after you do all it says do per the recipe (all that chill time), it is BEST at room temp prior to serving.
I'll light the candles and enjoy a sweet little meal for two with my Special Valentine.
It doesn't have to cost a pretty penny to let someone know how much they are loved!
Yes, we dined by candlelight!  Dinner and conversation were both Yummy.
What did you or are you doing to share the love today?

  17. I got an email from the same person who sent out aquarium tickets and the first weekend of March they have a Princess Diana exhibit in Atlanta – I put the details on my blog if you are interested. Two free tickets. Thought you might like to know. I'm trying to let all Georgia bloggers know. Pass the word.
