Valentine Goodies, etc

I have been AMAZED by the ONE World ONE Heart blog event! There is still time for you to enter the amazing artful and creative giveaways. There are over 800!!! bloggers participating. See my post from yesterday or click on the world in my side bar. This photo is of myself and my daughter making faces in the car back during the summer. We look all SURPRISED though right? And goofy and HAPPY! So this is how I feel about being a part of the One World One Heart event. It's been SUPER fun and I can't wait to give my goodie box away on Feb. 12th. If you want to enter post a comment on YESTERDAY's blog entry!

I worked on some little Valentine goodies tonight! I will be putting a set of these into my One World One Heart goodie box. Shhhhhhhh it's part of the surprise! *wink* I painted the wooden hearts (picked up at Hobby Lobby on SALE!); then used puff paint on the red one, stamped the swirly design with StazOn ink on the white one. Added a touch of ribbon and here they are:

Sunday I hung some things in my Inspiration Studio. A new shelf found at Ross for $11! That is just too cute and matched perfectly. I also picked up a wooden dowel at Michaels for 36 cents, painted it white and hung it on the daisy hooks to hold my ribbon. My mom says she has a very old blue canning type jar she will bring me to put on the shelf too! Can't wait to see that little gem.

I also hung the painted bulletin boards above my computer desk in the studio. I can tell where some of the spray paint got under the paper. Oops! Oh well, reminds me that I used my resources and turned the black frames into white to use in my room! I love the HUGE star ornament I found on clearance in an after Christmas sale and knew I could use it for something to SHINE!
