Easy Chicken Pot Pie

This is a favorite at our house!  We had it last night from my weekly menu plan.
Chicken Pot Pie

Chicken (I use 3-4 boneless chicken breasts, but a whole one would work)
1 cup of self rising flour
1 cup of milk
1 stick of butter
1 can of Cream of Chicken soup
1 can of Cream of mushroom soup
1 can of Veg-all  (drain)
Chicken Broth
Salt/pepper to taste

Cook chicken and save broth.  Shred chicken by hand.  Mix chicken, soups, veg-all, salt/pepper in a bowl.

Add in broth for consistency (you do not want your mixture too soupy)  Mix milk and flour in blender(pour in milk first and there are no clumps!).  Melt butter and pour in the casserole dish.  Pour in flour and milk mixture.

SPOON in chicken mixture.  Do NOT stir.

Cook in pre-heated oven at 325 for about one hour or until crust is brown.

Ready for the oven.
DONE and Yummy!

  3. That sounds very good. And look at that heart you made with the liquid. We've made Chili on Sunday and had leftovers yesterday. It's always better the next day because all the ingredients have soaked in good.
