1. I worked on a few crafty projects yesterday afternoon. A few more things to include in my OneWorld OneHeart giveaway goodie box (there is still time to sign up! Scroll DOWN to the Giveaway post and leave a comment if you are an active blogger). Painted clothes pins, cute in a jar or clipped on a line to display photos or such. NOT for use with clothing.
2. A photo of the New VINTAGE store in town, Feathers & Twigs. Located on Maple Street by the railroad tracks in an old warehouse building (next to the Fabric Peddler) Cindy and Donna are just the best! Sweet and down home gals! You need to stop by there and check out this unique store with a bit of everything for the vintage lover in you! They also have a Fun-raiser coming up on Feb. 20th to benefit our local hospital's heart center. It is going to be a girls only pajama party, complete with bingo for vintage prizes! This photo is off their current newsletter:
If you want more information on the store or the Fun-raiser contact them at feathersandtwigs@yahoo.com .
3. Photos. My daughter loves making photos of herself, of others, of just about anything! We were headed to the mall on Friday night for her some much needed jeans when she snapped this shot in the car.
Also the beginnings of my photo wall over my wannabe daybed in my studio. This is a $2 wood mirror from the junk store I painted white. Plus two of the 88 cent frames, also painted, with a photo of my children and the barn photo from yesterday's post. I have two more painted 8x10 frames and other smaller ones I will be adding as I pick out pictures and find time!
4. Huge Thanks to all my new readers! I have enjoyed browsing blogs, feeling inspired, 'meeting' you and having you stop by. Also a big southern 'aw shucks thanks' to Kim at Daisy Cottage for dropping by my modest little blog and adding me to her awesome blog candy blogroll! It is an honor! Hope all of you will continue to grab a cup of coffee or a huge glass of sweet tea, pull up your chair and sit a spell. I hope in some small way you will find something inspiring or maybe even a laugh or two by visiting.

That little store looks amazing! I am loving those painted clothespins...you just gave me a great idea for a baby shower. Let me know when you post a picture of your "do not disturb" plaque you're making. I want to see how cute it turns out!

p.s. I am sooooo jealous of those shutters you found at the goodwill. What a deal!
