Polka Dots & Stripes

Shaking up the Goodwill Glamour this week, brought to you by the color BLUE apparently.
I'm joining in on my very first Everybody, Every Wear, where this month the ladies are rocking Polka Dots.  Here is my attempt with dots and mixing some flashy colors.
I actually wore this get up last week to the office.
I've worn the scarf and sweater (draped over my arm above) before HERE, with jeans.
I was terrified leaving the house.  For real, this is out of my comfort zone.
Mixed patterns.  Bright bold color.
My mom would have told me this does NOT 'match'.  Ha!
It's hard to see in the photos but the scarf has a bit of green in it too.
Surpisingly, I received several compliments regarding the color combination.
Teal, navy and pale (lime?) green.
The outfit 411:
Green Polka dot 100% silk, Coldwater Creek blouse, Goodwill - $2.19
This blouse feels like jammies.  Don't hate, it's not Southern Lady like.  Wink!
Scarf, Dancing Gecko (found new with tags), Goodwill - $2.02
Cardigan, Sag Harbor, Goodwill - $2.24
Black slacks, Goodwill - $4.59
Black Tony Lama, real leather, belt - Goodwill - $2.00
Not shown, my black boots, Belks, gifted.
Linking this outfit on the Color Brigade.  Stop by and see how the experts heat up sassy color combos.
Monday - Work, Spring Break week at the U and brrrr!
The weather took a dip from our recent temps in Georgia.
So I layered up today in stripes.
I couldn't even like this picture of myself today, but it's the only full shot.
It is what it is, end of the day wringled slacks and all.  Maybe it's the stripes?
Maybe it's drab.  Maybe I will mark it up to Monday.
Our pear trees are in bloom and winter isn't over.
Smiling big to make the outfit appear happier.
The horses aren't impressed.
Clothes details:
Black oh-so-fake leather jacket, Goodwill - $6.96
Black Christopher & Banks blouse, Goodwill - $1.99
Striped Croft & Barrow top, Goodwill - $4.49
Dark Grey slacks, Ross - $12.99
Black boots, Belks - gifted at Christmas
Turquoise earrings and braclet trio - Gifted at Christmas

Tuesday - Work ***edited to add
This outfit feels more like me.  Ever feel that way about your style?
My first attempt at photos in the mirror.
Wow, I appear thinner in the mirror, this might not be so bad afterall.
Need a full length, as I am standing on a step stool!
This skirt comes all the way to my ankles and it's a favorite.
Blue blouse, Lands End, Goodwill - $4.39
Black sweater, Old Navy, Goodwill - $2.24
Blue-ish LL Bean (100% Cotton & oh so soft/comfy), Goodwill - $3.99
Same black Tony Lama leather belt, Goodwill
Blue Polka Dot bead necklace, Goodwill - $3.73
Bracelet, by Mudd from Kohl's - $7.99 (sale price)
Don't mind my wrinkles, you are suppose to see the earrings.
Blue square drop earrings, Goodwill - $3.53
The diamond studs I wear everyday and they were gifted.

That's all folks!  Due to tons of rain and limited time, the outfits are a simple trio this week.
I am linking in with the Pleated Poppy for my 3rd What I Wore Wednesday.
Lindsey hosts a weekly link party to inspire women to get out of their sweats.
Although she started this to assist SAHM's, it has grown to over 100 women sharing everyday and work wear by us ~  The average amazing beautiful Women of blog world.
Join in any of these parties for wardrobe inspiration.

My favorite outfit is the one with the skirt. Skirts just make me happy, plus the layered tops, the belt, the long necklace - everything about that outfit is so incredibly flattering on you and SO pretty!
