Goodwill Glamorous - Be Bold Color Edition

I decided I really needed some color in my wardrobe!
Not that I don't buy colors, guess I was a scaredy cat about mixing them.
My 'go to' outfits for work are my black and gray; easy, classic.
So this week is a bit different with styles that are stepping out of my comfort zone.
Since stalking, What I Wore Wednesday and the Color Brigade; I'm styling color!
As always, most of my outfits are thrifted from Goodwill.
Thursday - Work day
Yep, dirty mirror and all.  Hey, I'm chasing a 3 year old now.

I didn't like this blouse when I wore it several months ago, but LOVED it with the scarf as a belt.
I also tossed on a Purple cardi with this because I was cool at the office.  See Sunday's outfit for cardi.
Friday - Casual day at work
My most daring color outfit yet!
Since Friday's are jeans day for most of the office, I figured my boss might not pass out when the always Miss Professional 'Proper' donned a wild array of colors.  I felt SASSY in this outfit and it received several compliments.  On my lunch hour, I was in Target picking up a birthday present and was stopped by a total stranger about this get'up.

  1. Sherri, those outfits are fabulous!!! And the prices can not be beat!

    Don't you just love thrifting?!?!

  2. What great finds! I really like Tuesday's outfit - not gypsy at all! And I now have a new way to wear a scarf, what a great idea :)

  3. Love the Oxford blue button-up with the printed blazer.

  4. Great week, you look wonderful in colour. My fav is the scarf cumberband, a brilliant idea I will be trying myself. Have a lovely week. axx

  5. Thanks ladies! That silk scarf was an awesome score. Just long enough to go around me twice. I hope I can find other ways to style it too, but it's kind of a stiff fabric.

  6. LOVE, love, love that scarf as a belt, how cute! I love all of your outfits, so cute! I still haven't got the nerve up to wear colored tights yet, but you look ADORABLE in them!

  7. You inspire me to thrift. I love the scarf you wore as a belt!

  8. Just heard about a great thrift store in my area, think I will check it out. You look great!

  9. Love what you've got goin' on - love great thrift finds!

  10. You are adorable! I love your style. I really love that scarf turned belt, GREAT idea and that you shop at Goodwill. Thrifting is one of my favorite things!

  11. I love all of your outfits! Blue looks so good on you! Thanks for stopping by my blog! Last Friday I did a fabric flower post. You should make them, you would love them! And with your fabulous GW finds you would really do well. I use old t-shirts for my fabric.

  12. Thanks for checking out my blog! I really love that first blouse with the scarf belt (yes, it's a bit colorful for my style, but it works great on you!). :) I'm also seriously impressed with your thrifting skills!!!

Great idea layering the blue button-up blouse with the white top. It really works, especially with that necklace.
