Christmas is Coming!
Here is a little sneak peek of 2 projects I am busy planning and crafting.
First up a bit of this and that.
A touch of nature along with berries, red and cream.
Uh huh and a bit of that oh so loved Burlap too.
Doesn't it have a country Christmas feel to it?
And more pine cones...
This one is proving to take a little more time than expected!
Ouch! and prickly too.
My heart is set on an old fashioned Christmas at my home.
Homemade goodness, lots of laughter, fun and the warmth of love.
All with a little bitty price tag.
I can't wait to share it all with you!
Another hint? What is your decorating Christmas 'theme' in your home?
I'm changing mine up a bit this year.
See the tiny birdies? Aren't they cute?
I'll let you in on a secret...
Dollar Tree
They have them in white and red.
I can't wait to see what you're making!! I do an old fashioned Christmas here, too. I started last year and all of the kids just loved it, it made them feel comfortable, not like they couldn't touch anything! I can't wait to decorate again!
ReplyDeleteI will have to look for the birdies on my bi~weekly trip to the Dollar Store!!
ReplyDeleteCome by my blog, Sherri. I am having a giveaway!!
xoxo
Jane
Can't wait to see what you make.
ReplyDeleteNow my interest is peaked!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a old fashioned christmas...it screams comfort and joy! I think I just stole that from a song!
Have a great week!
I can't wait to see Christmas with an itty bitty price tag!! It already looks beautiful. :)
ReplyDeleteI think it sounds like it is going to be beautiful! I love things done with pinecones!
ReplyDeleteI saw those little birdies at the Dollar Tree the other day and I stood in front of them for a few minutes pondering what I'd do with them! I can't WAIT to see what you do!! :)
ReplyDeleteOh boy, I just loooove that first photo! I can't wait to see what you are up to. You asked what sort of "theme" we are going with for Christmas. I'm thinking a real country sort of rustic type theme. I'm going to add lots of raffia to the tree and red Christmas balls. HAha...but then I see another sort of theme and want to go that route...so who knows! I'm not going to decorate for another week or so so I guess I have time. :)
ReplyDeleteI just did a post on Dollar Tree ornaments!!! I love them and bought a lot of stuff last year for my tree. I might be the only, but I'm all about a Martha Stewart tree (as I call it). I love trees that look like they came straight out of a magazine, but that's probably because that's what I always wanted as a child. Thanks for your comment on my blog! I am (sort of) a Georgia girl and LOVE thrift stores. I'm not sure what part of town you're in, but we might have to trade secrets!! :)
ReplyDeleteplease see what I found at Dollar Tree!! http://meditationsonlifeandstyle.blogspot.com/2009/10/its-beginning-to-look-lot-like.html
ReplyDeleteLooks very pretty already, Sherri. I can't wait to see the finished product...Christine
